Liners

At KADO Pools:

We believe in providing you with the best quality liners. This is why we only install true 30 Mil. gauge, 30 years warrantied made in Canada liners.

Our selection of liner patterns consists of the latest eye-catching designs. While improving the durability and quality of your pool and lengthening its lifetime, our pool liners allow you to create a pool style that is all you.

The Liner install process:

  • First we drain your pool, remove the old liner and measure it very accurately (one of the most important steps in this process as every pool is custom and a perfect fit makes a perfect looking pool)
  • Then we order your new liner and send the measurement to the Canadian manufacturing company. They will take somewhere between 1 and 3 weeks to manufacture.
  • Once your liner is ready, we pick it up and come straight to your house
  • We then repair minor wall damages (rust spots) and bottom damage (small concrete cracks)
  • We tape all the seems, remove the old gaskets and face plates (returns & skimmer) and replace them with new ones
  • Your pool is swept and vacuumed thoroughly
  • We drop and hang your new liner in the pool. Adjust it to its exact intended position and start filling it with water.
  • We also hook up a vacuum behind the liner which sucks the air out from behind it maintaining your liner in position until there is enough water in the pool to hold on its own (around 6-8? in the shallow end)
  • When the water level is right we pull the vacuum out, tuck your liner in, cut out the skimmer, returns, lights and stairs and install new face plates
  • The water level is brought up to half way up the skimmer, we start your equipment and our job is done!

Finally it is time for you to enjoy your new swimming pool.

Safety Covers

At KADO pools we believe in safety. This is why we only install quality, made in Canada safety covers.

Are you wondering if a safety cover is right for you or not? Here are some of the pros and cons of a safety cover.

Pros:

  • It is SAFE for your whole family (including of course your loved pets) as it stretches tightly across your whole pool including the stairs leading into the pool preventing any accidental injury or death
  • It also prevents wild animals (raccoons, rabbits, squirrels and foxes just to name a few) from falling in your pool and drowning (potentially destroying part of your liner in their struggle)
  • It prevents leaves, sticks, branches, stones, bricks or rocks from falling in your pool and dirtying it at the very least or worse, damaging it. Any debris would be held on top of the cover where it is easy to remove or simply blow off.
  • During the winter, snow and ice would accumulate on top of your cover which, in the spring, would thaw into your pool. This fills your pool up to almost the right level for when it is time to open it again. This saves you a bit of money and time.
  • It is a excellent long term investment as it is extremely durable and warrantied for 15 years

Cons:

  • A safety cover is expensive. More than a vinyl or fabreen cover and much more than a tarp cover.
  • It doesn’t let leaves and large debris through however it does let pollen and other plant matter in. This results in having to give your pool a thorough cleaning when it is opened.

The process of Installation:

  • First we come to your house and measure your pool as every safety cover is custom made. The only exception is if your pool is of rectangular shape in which case you could just email or call us to give us your measurements.
  • You choose which model you prefer
  • We send these measurements to a Canadian manufacturing company. It usually takes them between 1-3 weeks to manufacture it.
  • When it is ready, we pick it up and come install it accurately
